If
you're like me, sewing presents a challenge, and the need for a good seam
ripper. Mine are especially comfortable and make a wonderful gift for any
stitcher!
I turn these heirloom-quality tools about
5" long. My "STANDARD RIPPER"
is suited for most jobs, but if you're
somewhat 'vigorous' with your tools, my "ROBUST RIPPER"
can handle almost any ripping job.
My newest "un-sewing" tool
is a
curved,
surgical-quality "SEAM
SLICER" with extra, self-replaceable
blades and a
molded, protective plastic cover. This style has a flattened backside (and lower
front edge) to aid in blade-orientation and keep it from rolling off the
table! (Metal parts are
redesigned HAVEL tools.)
